Having done that, close the humidor for twenty four hours and repeat the same process again the next day. After this close it for another day and it is ready to be used.

If on the day after the second treatment you can still feel some dampness in the humidor; give another to dry before you can store your cigars. In the time of treatment ignore the high reading on the hygrometer but if the reading go below seventy two percent repeat the process a third time after you check the functioning; the humidor cigar accessories sometimes need adjusting.
